About School of Medicine and Health
School of Medicine and Health (SMH) was established on the 1st of February 2010 as part of a large reorganisation of the educational programme portfolio under the Faculties of Engineering, Science and Medicine.
This portfolio is now divided into four schools, each directed by a head of school and a study board.
We cover the following study boards at the Faculty of Medicine at Aalborg University: Study Board for Health, Technology and Sports Science and Study Board for Medicine. Both study boards manage bachelor and master programmes all covering health science, and a broad variety of programmes is offered.
In the School of Medicine and Health, we educate bachelors and M.Sc. within Biomedical Engineering, Sports, Clinical Science and Technology, Medical Science, Medicine with an Industrial Specialisation a.o. Currently, we accept guest and degree students from abroad only on our Biomedical Engineering and Informatics programme.
